Born and raised in West London but have lived in Dorset now for over 20 years.
I work from my garden studio but often overflow into our cottage, where I design and create all of my wares.
What started as a hobby, has quickly developed into a busy job, which I juggle with my home life, a very understanding husband and three children, all of whom think art and creating is a foreign language!
I love working with clay, I love that you can take, what is essentially a piece of mud, and create something useful from it. The whole process is amazing!
It’s been a huge learning curve for me, with plenty of pitfalls but equally much reward.
I am passionate about handmade work and try to support other makers, but finding your own style, your own way can be hard and is very much an ongoing process.
Being creative does, I believe, come from your soul, it’s something you just have to do ….. and I love it.
